How To Stop Sweaty Palms With Your Mind

How to stop sweaty palms with your MIND!

Hi, I’m wondering how to stop sweaty palms even though for the most part, sweaty palms causes are genetic.

Do your techniques work on primary palmar/plantar hyperhidrosis, despite the fact that they’re many times caused by hereditary predisposition?

Some of your techniques are tailored for controlling the mental aspect of sweating so I’m curious as to how effective it would be.

Thanks

Learning how to stop sweaty palms and feet can be difficult to pull off. But the short answer to your question – whether our techniques work to stop palm sweating – is absolutely yes.

I’ll hit on a few details of the hyperhidrosis and genetics toward the bottom of this page. For those of you that want to start experimenting with mental techniques to stop palm sweating, this is for you:

How To Stop Sweaty Palms with Your Mind

I know some of you are skeptical about this, and I understand. But my hope is that you at least give mental exercises to stop sweating an honest chance before you dis them.

Here’s how I would get started if I were you…

Practice getting deeply relaxed and care-free.

Relaxing is a critical component to massive, permanent changes in mental chemistry.

When you’re really relaxed, you hit this state where you’re almost in a trance. It’s right in between being awake and being asleep, but you’ll be surprisingly aware of what’s happening in your mind.

Make an exciting picture of yourself happy & sweat-free.

Can you imagine what your life would be like if you learned how to stop sweaty palms for good?

  • How would you feel?
  • Who would you hang with?
  • What would be different?
  • What would life look like?

Start making a picture of yourself in your mind’s eye where you have ALREADY conquered this condition.

In your imagination, think of it as a thing of the past. You’re happy and content; dry & confident. Conjure up the feelings that you WOULD feel if that were a reality NOW.

Consider exploring hypnosis to stop sweating.

Though hypnosis has this big, scary connotation, it’s actually not a big deal at all. What it is is simply the two things I mentioned above… COMBINED.

  • There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.
  • You’re not going to be tricked into doing something that you don’t want to do.
  • You’re not going to lose control of your surroundings.

It’s just going to be relaxing and help you make that picture of yourself having figured out the stop sweating cure more realistic.

Now, there’s something important that you should internalize regarding the genetic link to sweating…

Sweaty Palms Causes Are Not Always Linked To Genetics

It’s true. There are a score of palm sweating causes that have nothing to do with your family.

In fact, many of the other common causes of excessive sweating & hyperhidrosis are responsible for sweaty palms as well.

Still, it is many times triggered by a genetic link, but my personal belief is that many genetic predispositions can be overcome naturally.

There are some “hard” genetic traits (like skin color, hair color, eyes) that are pretty darn hard, if not impossible, to change. But even these sometimes evolve over a person’s life!

But then there are also what we call “soft” genetic traits (like your voice, your skin complexion, your general build and muscularity, and your general temperament) that you see people having significant influence over.

Sure, hyperhidrosis may run in your family. But when it comes to how to stop sweaty palms, we find it’s often what somebody believes in their own mind that becomes the wild card.

If you believe in your own mind that because of the fact that hyperhidrosis can be genetic that there’s no natural palm sweating cure… well then that belief is NOT going to help your cause!

It’s like the saying, “Eh, what’s the use?” or “I can’t do it so why try?”

As you may have figured out, I’m a big believer in the power of the human mind. I’ve seen it work miracles in cases that we thought were doomed. You may not be as big of a believer.

But regardless, you owe it to yourself to AT LEAST take a genuine, positive shot at it. It doesn’t cost any money and there are no negative consequences possible.

What’s the worst that could happen?
