It’s Not The Sweat, it’s The Odor!

Author: Tyler

Hello, my name is Tyler, and i am 14 years old, going to the ninth grade, this fall. At the end of my 7th grade year, I noticed that i had an underarm issue.

The odor, was horrible.

I tried to google it, but nothing came up. Then i found out about hyperhidrosis, which is basically excessive sweating, right?

Well, i dont sweat that much, its really the odor thats bad. But, somewhere i read that hyperhidrosis has a direct correlation to odor as well.

Am i right?

And then i discovered this website…but its mainly about the cures for sweating.

I dont know what else to do… I’ve tried Dove, Degree, Toms of Maine Natural Deodorant, Secret, all clinical strengths. But, they all dried me up, its just the odor. And its not like some AWFUL smell.

And i am the cleanest person ever. I literally SCRUB my pits, every night, then apply my deode. Right now, Im trying Dove Clinical Strength. ANd, i cant talk to my parents. Much too embarrasing, so id like to keep it to myslef (and you guys of coarse)

Its just musty. but its excessive. I’ve been thinking about trying Mitchum and Certain Dri, products at local drug stores. But havent got around to it. If you could, please get back to me. I’d like to find a solution before school starts, you know?

Alright, thanks again…

I’d appreciate some suggestions. Thanks!

-Tyler!

Sweat is actually odorless and only begins to smell when odor-causing bacteria inhabit on the surface of the skin. The body areas that are prone to smell most are folds and warm areas of skin, such as, underarms, groin and feet. These areas are moist and damp and have the most sweat glands, which is most conducive to bacterial growth. The Brown Deodorant Stone boasts a 36 hour freshness level — that means no body odor, no bromhidrosis, for up to 36 hours. Can you imagine?
Brown Body Crystal is the most effective natural deodorant stone available today. If you have used white deodorant stone, then you will know the vast difference in effectiveness of brown Body Crystal. For more info go to http://www.natural-deodorant-stone.com

Hello. I was reading your article and I can relate to your problem. I think most of your problem is simply hormones.

When I was your age I remember being embarrassingly musty.

My mother would tell me I smelled like I bath with onions. The only thing that I have ever known to work is Phisoderm bar soap. They use to sell the product at any drug store but I have noticed that it?s no longer in all stores.

Phisoderm makes a cleaning- gel soap but I?m not sure if that works as well as the bar soap when it comes to eliminating the must. Try to Google the product and maybe you can find where it?s sold.

But I know for a fact it works. Hopes this was helpful.

Hi Keely, thanks for the input. I took the liberty of Googling it (I’d never heard of it) and found what seems to be the soap you’re talking about at http://www.phisoderm.com/bar-soap.html

Let us know how it works out!
