How To Use Drysol Properly

Hi Guys,
Can you tell me how to use Drysol properly?
To make a long story short, my Doc prescribed me Drysol for my excessive sweating after I went to him with my body odor problem.
I’ve tried it and I really haven’t seen a difference. Also, I haven’t been consistent with applying it so that’s probably the main problem.
Anyway, my question is the instructions say not to apply any other deodorant or antiperspirant while using drysol. This is confusing to me.
Drysol is supposed to be applied at night. so does this mean not to use deodorants or antiperspirants at night AND during the day?
I know the next morning you are supposed to wash it off, so can I apply my antiperspirant then or do i have to wait a few days after using the Drysol a few nights in a row?
Maybe this is what i did wrong? I did apply my antiperspirant the following morning after taking a shower because i just cannot imagine going without deodorant.
Please let me know how to use Drysol properly. Thanks in advanced and I’m looking forward to my e-mail and learning Mechanic Method.

Hi there,
With regard to using Drysol properly, one of the biggest keys is to be consistent with it. If you lack consistency, the rest of my suggestions won’t be that helpful.
Usually when you consistently use Drysol, you will see a drop-off in your sweat levels within a week or so. If you continue using it after the sweating has been reduced, it can cause irritation to the skin.
So most people, once they experience a bit of sweating relief, will slow their usage. I.e. use it every other night, or every third night, instead of every night.
With regard to Drysol and other antiperspirants, they should NOT be used in conjunction with each other within a 72 hour period. What that means is that if you use Drysol on Monday, you shouldn’t use any other anti-P’s until at least Wednesday.
A lot of people have trouble with this b/c of the issue of body odor. But what most people don’t know is that DEODORANT is different from ANTIPERSPIRANT. Deodorant just smells good. Antiperspirant smells good and has a form of Aluminum in it, which clogs up sweat glands to stop sweating.
For body odor, you can use deodorant simultaneously with Drysol. So go out and get a plain deodorant. Then in the mornings when you wash your Drysol off, you can use the deodorant.
How do you know whether it’s a plain deodorant or an antiperspirant?
You have to read the label.
If you see the words ‘antiperspirant’ or ‘aluminum’ anywhere on the packaging, then it’s an antiperspirant. But if neither of those words appear, it’s most likely a straight deodorant.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you DO end up using Drysol properly and accidentally apply antiperspirant simultaneously, it’s not going to kill you. It’s not that good for business, but it won’t be the end of your life.
Other than that, keep reading, keep trying stuff, use Mechanic Method, and ‘Stack’ to the sky.

i got my perscription. of Drysol roll on . It states to wrap your hands feet and armpits in platic wrap then put on gloves t-shirt and socks… I sweat to much to do all that..I won’t be able to sleep…what happens if i put it on wait till it drieis then go to bed..what is the plastic for ???? I sweeat a lot..my hands drip.my feet are frezzing all day because my sock and shoes are wet….let me know if i can skip the plastic…

I don’t understand why you can not use an antiperspirant with drysol? What is the reason for this? Thanks!
