Baking Soda is a BIG Help Against Body Odor!

Using baking soda is, in my opinion, THE biggest help against body odor. And it’s such a good idea, too.

All you have to do is just mix baking soda and water together and make sure it’s a paste. Rub gently under you arms. Leave it on for a minute or two and wash it off in the shower.

If you do this, you won’t have a smell under your arms whatsoever. I tried it and it works and i had very bad odor.

So if it worked for me it has to work for you. Don’t give up. Continue to try things. But I promise you that baking soda will be the biggest help against body odor for you.

It works even better if you take baths. You can pour some of that mixture in the bath tub and let your body soak in it. Also after you get out the bath or shower you should sprinkle a little bit of baking soda under your arms.

But don’t shave under your arms and then put baking soda under it. That’s a bad idea. You should wait a day or two after shaving. if you don’t wait your armpits will sting and leave you with little knots.

Trust me guys I’ve suffered from ‘Bromhidrosis’ for awhile now. But baking soda has been a tremendous help against body odor for me. I’ve been smelling fresh. I promise you. Try it!

    Hi there,

Thank you for submitting this idea to help against body odor. I have heard similar strategies before, but you make it sound really easy, like a no-brainer.

Please continue to check back and let everybody know if the baking soda continues helping against the body odor, or if it ever comes back.

    Thanks again!

P.S. Have you ever heard of the correlation between milk and body odor? I’ve been doing research on that recently and I’ll be posting on it soon. If you want to see it, be sure to bookmark this site, or sign up for the RSS feed.

I’ve been using baking soda for a number of years now to control body odor. Just put in on hot spots daily just as you would powder and it definately controls odor. If you have sensative skin, you may want to try something else, because you may experience a burning sensation under your arms, etc. It works perfectly for me. It has resolved my odor problems. I wouldn’t use anything else.

Been using baking soda for several months now and it works great. I just pat it on like a powder after I shower, and it sticks. Side benefit is it gets into my clothing, too, you know sometimes even washing your clothing doesn’t quite remove all the residual odor? Well, since I’ve been using baking soda, my previously “ruined” (because of odor I couldn’t get out) clothing has no bad smell to it anymore! I also discovered that if you need a quick touch-up during the day, put some 70% isopropyl alcohol on a cotton pad and swipe in your pits, it will kill “everything” and then you can reapply the baking soda and be odor free again.

Hi, I have suffered from excessive sweating and odor for a long time. Baking soda has been the most effective solution so far. I will pray that dermatologists and G.P.’s will finally start Telling their patients about this! But then again, my mother had told me this is what the “old timer’s” used long ago. As ever, Mom was right! As usual, baking soda is for everything from unplugging your kitchen drain to freshening your carpet and now freshening You Too! Praise God! And many thank to all who have made this site possible!
