Read just a little so far

Hey guys,

I read about relaxing and eating right. Thing is, I DO eat right. I attend a stretching/relaxation class twice a week. I eat nothing other than whole grains (not enriched) and lots of fruits and veggies. I have atleast 1 8oz glass of milk a day.

The perspiration is still here! It drives me crazy. I have to wear wash clothes under my nice work shirts that will show my sweat spots. What else is there? I’ve been on this diet for about 3 months now. And taking the class going on 12 weeks. I walk 2 miles everyday. I walk the first mile at 9am. I walk with another girl, I’m not even thinking about underarm sweat, but it just appears.

What else can I do to stop the sweating?

    Hello there,

Sounds like you’re doing a good job. There are a couple of important tweaks that I would recommend for you with regard to your dieting and exercise. But for the most part, what you’re doing is good.

The thing is, changes like these take time. Whatever you do, don’t get discouraged and quit. You will prevail over the sweating.

    1. Do you do any intense exercise? Relaxation, stretching, and walking are all well and good, but you need that intense, heart-racing workout frequently, too.

    2. Haven’t you ever heard of ‘Stacking?’ You’re doing the exercise and eating thing to stop sweating, right? Well what about the ‘Mind’ thing? You should try auto-suggestion, which is a form of self-hypnosis. It’s probably similar to the relaxation you’re doing, except has another component to it. You can learn more about it, and other ‘Mind’ methods under the ‘Your Mind’ tab.

Plus, there are tons of other things to ‘Stack’ for excessive perspiration. You can use sage teas, Deodorite, different antiperspirants, sweat-guards, B-complex vitamins, magnesium, and tons of other stuff.

So while you are doing good with the diet and exercise, there are some opportunities to reduce sweating dramatically that you’re leaving on the table.

    Hope this helps.
